Super Bowl Weekend!

Well I didn't think it was right to let the Super Bowl pass without posting some amazing (dream) spaces to watch the game, and a deliciously easy recipe to try! This morning I was watching the Today show and they were battling about who makes the best crab: Maryland (blue crab, duh!) or San Fran dungeness, who knew?! You can read about their bet {here}.

Are you looking forward to the food, game, or commercials?
Here's to the weekend - and may the best team win :)

Theatre 1:
The wrought iron details are a bit reminiscent of spanish details in New Orleans, host of the game. Nice seating area allows for comfy seating where you can have a conversation.

Theatre 2:
Safe bet many would love this sports themed room (Tom would!) Easy to get up and walk around during the game.

Theatre 3
Amazing!! If you are watching in the nice weather....

Theatre 4:
Comfy living room style seating with multiple tv's!

Theatre 5:
Your living room! This is where most of us will watch the game. A good set up includes comfortable seating, coffee table for food and snack, and a good view of the tv.

And the recipe du jour is...
Jalapeno Popper Dip! I made this last year and it was so good, and so easy!

Ingredients:
1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese (room temperature)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 cup cheddar cheese (grated)
1/2 cup parmigiano reggiano
1 (4 ounce) can sliced jalapenos (pickled)
2 jalapeno peppers (chopped, optional)
1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
1/4 cup parmigiano reggiano

Directions:
1. Mix the cream cheese, mayonnaise, cheddar cheese, parmigiano reggiano and jalapenos in a bowl and pour into a baking dish.
2. Mix the panko bread crumbs and parmigiano reggiano and sprinkle over the dip.
3. Bake in a 375F oven until bubbling on the sides and golden brown on top, about 10-20 minutes.
